Our Nursery
Our nursery is staffed with an adequate number of competent caregivers that look forward to caring for your child during our services. We believe that it is possible to share the love of Christ with a child from the day he or she is born. It is very important to us and we do our utmost to provide a loving, nurturing and safe environment for your child. Our nurseries are equipped with up to date equipment including a paging and security system. Our purpose is to help each child feel comfortable, happy, loved and secure, and to provide a foundation for their developing faith. Our nursery rooms are divided in the following manner: Infant nursery: Newborns until crawling Toddler 1 nursery: Crawling until walking Toddler 2 nursery: Walking until promoted to 2 year old class A class for 3-4 year olds is also provided through the nursery ministry on Sunday evenings.
General Policies
-
The nursery opens 15 minutes prior to service time and other scheduled events.
- Sign
in your child using the baby care sheets provided in each nursery. Please
complete the entire sheet as it contains vital information for each service.
- Label
your child’s belongings. If items are not labeled, they will be labeled by our
nursery staff.
- Our silent pager system gives you the freedom to attend
Sunday School class and Worship Service, knowing you will be contacted if your
child needs you. A worker will give you a pager and record the pager number. If
you are needed during a service, the pager will vibrate.
- Our pagers
also serve as our security system and children will be released to a parent
only when the numbered pager is presented.
- Make sure to bring any items
that are needed for your child’s specific needs such as bottles, drinking cups,
pacifiers, blankets, etc...
- Don’t hesitate to remind us of your child’s
special needs. We want your child to feel individually loved the same way Jesus
loves each of us.
